SQL4automation is a specialist in industrial communication, providing software solutions that enable companies to easily integrate machine data into SQL databases. To optimize and modernize the sales and management of their software licenses, SQL4automation required a comprehensive digital solution. We were commissioned to execute a complete website redesign: from strategic planning and visual design to the technical implementation of a complex e-commerce system. The goal was to make license purchasing, management, and quote requests as seamless and efficient as possible for customers.
Strategic Design & Technical Foundation for Flexibility
The project kicked off with the creation of detailed Wireframes based on Figma. these served not only as a blueprint for the User Experience (UX) but also streamlined the subsequent content creation process for SQL4automation. After defining a visual universe in two variants, we developed a comprehensive Design System based on the final selection. The technical implementation was carried out in Webflow. We utilized a flexible architecture featuring Page Slots and Components with Props to ensure easy and agile website management. This foundation guarantees that SQL4automation can effortlessly adapt and scale content without the need for developer assistance.

Focus: Integrated E-Commerce with Member Dashboard
The main focus of the project was the implementation of a complete e-commerce ecosystem for license sales. By combining the tools Memberstack, Vercel, and Stripe, we enabled customers to purchase licenses directly online. The system supports both direct purchase and the ability to request quotes and redeem accepted quotes to obtain the license. In parallel, we developed a dedicated User Dashboard. Here, customers find all relevant information at a glance: an overview of active and purchased licenses, payment details, and the option for easy profile adjustments. This integrated system transformed SQL4automation's license distribution from a manual process into a fully automated, customer-centric one.
The successful implementation of this modern ecosystem has equipped SQL4automation for the digital age, ushering in a new era of direct and efficient license distribution.
