Rexhep Rexhepi is one of the most celebrated independent watchmakers of our time. Based in Geneva, his atelier Akrivia stands for uncompromising excellence, bridging traditional horology with contemporary aesthetics. To reflect this vision in the digital space, we collaborated with Hérisson Studio to bring their artistic direction to life through a fully custom website, developed in Webflow and enhanced with immersive animations. The result is a digital flagship that mirrors the precision and elegance of the Akrivia timepieces.
Crafting a Digital Showcase with Webflow
For a brand like Rexhep Rexhepi, every detail matters. Using Webflow, we translated the visual identity designed by Studio Herison into a fluid, responsive website that feels as refined as a hand-finished movement. Beyond the aesthetic fidelity, we focused on performance: high-resolution photography is central to the storytelling, so we implemented advanced optimization techniques to ensure fast load times across devices without compromising image quality. Webflow’s CMS capabilities also allow for seamless content management, essential for a brand evolving at the frontier of independent watchmaking.
GSAP Animations for a Seamless Luxury Experience
From the first scroll, the site invites users into the world of Rexhep Rexhepi. We integrated GSAP-powered animations to craft a user experience that is as precise and controlled as a tourbillon mechanism. A key challenge was the implementation of a scroll-activated vertical timeline, showcasing milestones in the brand’s journey, alongside a dedicated horizontal scroll section. These interactions, fully built with GSAP and ScrollTrigger, required a careful orchestration of animation logic, responsive behavior, and performance tuning. The result: an experience that balances storytelling with sophistication, and never compromises on fluidity.
