For many years, BERNbilingue has been dedicated to promoting and preserving bilingualism in the Canton of Bern. Acting as a bridge between French-speaking and German-speaking communities, the organization fosters cultural exchange, political representation, and mutual understanding across linguistic regions. Over time, the existing website no longer met modern expectations in terms of user experience and digital communication. The goal of the relaunch was to simplify access to information, increase the visibility of the organization’s activities, and create a digital experience that truly reflects its bilingual mission.

A bilingual website designed for a bilingual mission

The new website was developed entirely in French and German, ensuring a seamless experience for all audiences. Visitors can now easily access news, events, projects, and information about the organization’s work. A redesigned information architecture and improved navigation make content easier to find and more engaging to explore. The platform also supports the association’s long-term growth by making it easier for new members and supporters to discover and engage with its mission.

Modern content management with Webflow

To provide maximum autonomy to the BERNbilingue team, the website was built on Webflow. News articles, events, projects, and board member profiles can now be managed and published independently. Thanks to a modular and scalable structure, the platform can evolve alongside the organization’s future needs without requiring extensive technical support. This creates a sustainable foundation for effective digital communication and long-term visibility.

Bilingualism thrives through dialogue and connection. With its new website, BERNbilingue now has a digital platform that reflects its mission and helps bring together the linguistic communities that make the Canton of Bern unique.
